General Fishery Rules
- Please report suspicious behaviour or concerns to Bailiff Fred Reynolds (07896 489125) or Jain Wood (07896 142 394)
- Anglers must pre-pay in advance of fishing at the ticket station and must have a environment
- Agency rod licence only 2 rods can be used by one angler
- We operate a zero tolerance policy for any blatant disregard of our rules
- You will be asked to leave immediately and will be banned from using the fishery again
- Please check for matches on the notice board – RED disc means the pool has a match on for this day
- No refunds
- Children must be supervised at all times
- No dogs allowed at all times
- No fires or BBQ’S
- No litter, please take all litter home with you
- All fish to be netted
- No parking on the grass with boots open – drop your tackle off at the peg then park up on the hard ground
- No throwing of fish when returning to the water – pulled through nets and tipped please
- No night fishing
- No braids
- No Boilies of any size
- No Bloodworm Or Joker
- Barbless hooks only – regular checks now in place – No larger than size 12
- No floating baits
- No braided hook lengths
- In Matches You Can Not Use Any More Then 16 Meters Of Pole
- All Pole Float Rigs Must Have A 6″ Minimum Of Line From The Tip Of Your Pole And You Must Use A visible Float not sunken
- You Cannot Feed with A Pole Cup While Using A Another Line In The Water
- All Forms Of Fixed Leads And Feeders Must Be Free Running (Guru X-Safe System Feeders Can Be Used)
- No Lead Core leaders
- All fish to be netted no swinging if caught you will be disqualified in matches
- Please ensure all nets ( keep and landing ) are laid out and dried for 30 minutes before introduction to the water
- Maximum of 60lb in one net If you go over 70lb in a match you go back to 60lb If you go over 80lb you lose the net ( in matches silver fish must be kept separate to carp )
- Please report any anglers who you may think be fishing with the intention of removing the fish for personal consumption
- Please check for matches booked as per the notice board
- Extra toilet facilities including disabled are also available in the lodge
BAIT THAN CAN BE USED
Maggots – Casters – Worms – (Bread No floating or Liquidised) – Pellets (to 10 mm / No Varnished Or Super Glued) – Luncheon meat (No bigger than 10/12 mm cubes) – hemp – Tares – sweet Corn – paste – Ground bait Any Baits Not Listed, In Matches You Will Be Disqualified If Caught Using Them
No boilies of any type to be used – fishery rules to be followed to preserve the fish and the pools, if in doubt please ask.
Lower park fisheries cannot accept any responsibility for personal injury, damage or theft of vehicles or equipment.
BAIT LIMITS
6 pints limit, which can include:
- 6 pints of pellets (only 2 pints of 2mm).
- 3 pints of casters.
- 3 pints of maggots (dead or alive).
- 2 cans of corn 340g.
- 2 tins of meat – 250g.
- 1 pint of wet paste.
- 1kg of worms.
- 1 pint hempseed.
- 2 kg of groundbait.
Regular checks will be made.
EXCEPT IN MATCHES
- All fish over 4lb should be returned to the pool and not netted
- All fish should be returned to the pool after 5 hours
